In early 2012 we began to use our slate craft skills to create a range of high quality, natural slate gifts. The first pieces to be made were our popular rectangle place mats and coasters. Due to their popularity we decided to add more products to the range including, cheeseboards, cake stands, wine racks and memo boards etc.

After working out of a 6x4ft garden shed for over 12 months, we had gained over 100 stockists across the UK and Europe. To date we are selling to over 500 retailers including the UK, Europe, Canada, UAE, Australia and the Far East.

In 2015 due to the demand and success of our slateware brand www.PlattersSlate.com, we launched an interior brand focusing on high quality, hand finished, antique, vintage and country living homeware. Platters Interiors will consist of an ever changing collection of unique, on trend interior furniture. Ranging from Ercol Welsh dressers to Early 20th Century sideboards our aim is to offer high quality, hand-finished furniture to suit your home.
