At Platters, we are thrilled to be able to create beautiful items with engravings, and we wanted to share that excitement by celebrating our local symbol, the Haslingden Halo. Our wooden coaster is the perfect way to showcase this unique sculpture, which is part of a series of sculptures known as ‘Panopticons’ that are placed in prominent locations in the West Pennine Moors of Lancashire. The Halo is a disc-shaped sculpture located above the town of Haslingden and is especially stunning when illuminated at night. We are so proud to be able to engrave this coaster in our Haslingden workshop, making it the ideal gift for someone locally or a lovely addition to your home.
